Monday 9/4/18 Finish flash card on Unit 2 vocabulary words, correct spelling on on side and the first definition on the other side. We will use these daily in class to practice spelling and using the vocabulary words in our writing.
Thursday 9/6/18 Read pages 116 - 121, the non-fiction story of "Winding". Find the following vocabulary words of this story: coherent, eject hibernation, novelty, scavenger, and truce. Write the page number where you found the vocabulary word. Copy the sentence that uses each vocabulary word. Be ready to discuss the meaning of the word in context, in class on Friday.

Finish the composition of "Your scariest camping trip" for Friday. Remember to use your MLA template, indent paragraphs, use complete sentences, use correct spelling and punctuation. You will need to have three paragraphs of five sentences in each paragraph. 

Study your spelling words and definitions for a practice  quiz on Friday - it will be fun!
