The safety rules and regulations are designed for the safety of the children. Children model the behavior we show them. Parents are expected to follow the safety rules at all times when school is in session, along with the directions of the Safety Patrol and Traffic Directors.
Speed limit on campus is
5 mph at all times!
NOTE: There are different traffic flows (shown below) that are used for regular school days and in the event of an emergency. Please be familiar with both flows.
Regular Traffic Flow
The map below shows the regular traffic flow that is used for drop off and pickup each school day. Note there are separate procedures for emergency pickup (see further down this page).
Emergency Traffic Flow
The map below shows the traffic flow that is used when an emergency has been declared by the school (either due to lock down, natural disaster or other unplanned event). It is most important to note that the Oakland diocese requires HSS to perform a full dismissal emergency drill every two years. The full dismissal emergency drill utilizes the emergency traffic flow shown below.
