Health, Safety, and Facilities Protocols for 2020-21 School Year

Holy Spirit School is a Pre-K through 8th grade school located in Fremont, California and is a vital ministry of Holy Spirit Parish in the Diocese of Oakland.  For 60 years we have been dedicated to developing the whole child by providing a quality Catholic education in a safe and caring environment.

Holy Spirit School provides academic rigor and educational
success by developing the minds and hearts of our students (Kindergarten through 8th grades). Additionally, Holy Spirit Preschool is available for students ages 3-5
.

  • We strive to achieve Academic Excellence by providing students with the tools and attention they need to excel.

  • Teacher/Student Ratio - With a teacher and instructional assistant in our classrooms, a low teacher-student ratio allows us to differentialize instruction to address the individual needs of our students.

  • Committed and Caring Staff - Our highly skilled teachers are dedicated to maintaining academic standards.

  • Accredited - Holy Spirit School undergoes a rigorous accreditation process under the guidelines of the Western Catholic Education Association.

  • Faith and Value Formation - Through our Student Learning Expectations, Holy Spirit School provides a foundation of faith, spirituality, and character that will sustain your child for a lifetime.

Welcome to Holy Spirit School!

Thank you for your interest in our parish school. Holy Spirit School is dedicated to developing the whole child by providing a quality Catholic education in a safe and caring environment. Our dedicated faculty and staff fully encourage and nurture all students towards achieving their very best. We are confident that you will find our parish school provides the faith development, academic excellence, and character building skills that all parents desire for their children.

For the past 60 years Holy Spirit School has been an excellent foundation for Catholic education with the vast majority of our students being accepted into Catholic High School with placement in advanced or honor classes.

In addition to our rigorous curriculum we offer many enrichment classes, including music, art, Spanish, and physical education. We have integrated technology into the classrooms in many ways: iPads, MacBooks, and interactive displays. Students are also encouraged to make use of our library.  After school, students have the opportunity to take part in many activities, such as: Student Council, Ecology Club, and Peer Tutoring. As Christ-centered persons our students are encouraged to join the choir, or serve our Lord as an Acolyte.

In living out our student learning expectations, students have the opportunity to be health conscious individuals by joining our extensive CYO program. Our CYO program allows children to build friendships while playing sports. Our athletes learn to love a game, and the importance of good sportsmanship.

Finally, I feel blessed to have been able to be a student, parent and teacher at this amazing school! I look forward to sharing with you all that our school has to offer. Come and take a tour and see why Holy Spirit Parish School is so much more than a school. It is a community of faith-filled people, where lifetime friendships are formed while providing a quality Catholic education.

"Let us be guided by the Holy Spirit. Allow him to speak to our hearts and he will tell us this: God is Love."      -Pope Francis

We look forward to meeting you--schedule your visit today!
